PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Federal authorities have arrested three men in connection with a June 2025 Brink’s armored truck robbery, in which over $2 million was allegedly stolen.
The suspects — Daishaun “Daisha” Hughes-Murchison, 30, Brian Wallace, 31, and Trayvine Jackson, 31 — face charges of robbery interfering with interstate commerce and using a firearm in furtherance of a violent crime. Authorities believe the robbery may have involved insider knowledge.
The incident occurred on June 21 when the armored truck was approaching a Home Depot on the 2500 block of Castor Avenue. Two men armed with AR-style rifles confronted the driver in a rear alley, taking his company-issued firearm and keys while a third accomplice entered the truck and stole a significant amount of cash.
The suspects fled in a black Hyundai Sonata and a silver Ford Fusion. Investigators traced the Ford to Hughes-Murchison and the Hyundai to Wallace. Surveillance and cellphone data placed Wallace and Jackson near the rental site and Hughes-Murchison and Wallace near the Home Depot during the robbery.
Brink’s officials confirmed that Jackson had previously worked for the company but was terminated after an internal investigation.
All three defendants had initial court appearances last week. Jackson has been ordered detained, while Hughes-Murchison and Wallace are scheduled for detention hearings later this week.
