NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Three North Platte residents have been arrested after authorities discovered methamphetamine during a search of their home.
According to Lincoln County Court records, a search warrant was executed on Thursday at a residence on South Cottonwood Street. The search uncovered approximately 143 grams of meth in a bedroom shared by 55-year-old Todd Wickware and his girlfriend, 34-year-old Cynthia Valentine.
Authorities also found scales, baggies containing drugs, and cash in Wickware and Cynthia’s bedroom. A further search of Richard Valentine’s room, Cynthia’s father, revealed around 10 grams of meth.
Additionally, authorities discovered a firearm in Wickware’s vehicle. According to the affidavit, Wickware has a felony record from a 1990 conviction for Possession of Methamphetamine.
As a result, Wickware faces charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person. Cynthia Valentine is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession of Money and a Controlled Substance.
Richard Valentine, 57, faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, with his bond set at $15,000. The bonds for Wickware and Cynthia Valentine have been set at 10% of $250,000.
All three individuals are scheduled to appear in court on May 22nd.
