On Tuesday, Jaipur police arrested three men for their involvement in a robbery that took place in the Mansarovar area, where Rs 23 lakh was stolen from two hospital employees. The robbery occurred on February 19 near Rajasthan Dharam Kanta, when the victims, Dayal Nogia and Sitaram Jat, were transporting money belonging to Dr. Sunit Soni’s hospital for a business transaction.

The two victims were on a motorcycle when an unregistered car intercepted them. Two men emerged from the car, assaulted the victims, and snatched the bag containing the cash.

ACP Mansarovar Aditya Kakde revealed that the police tracked the unregistered car as it headed towards Phagi. Multiple police teams conducted raids in Tonk, Kota, Chittorgarh, and Bhilwara. However, the suspects had already returned to Jaipur by the time of the raids.

The police successfully apprehended Karan Singh Yadav alias Pradhan (24) and Vishal Choudhary alias Vakeel (20) during a naka bandi in Sanganer. Their interrogation led to the arrest of Meghraj Choudhary (25), a cashier at Dr. Soni’s hospital.

The investigation uncovered that Meghraj had planned the robbery after learning about the cash transfer. He recruited Karan and Vishal to carry out the heist while the hospital employees were en route to Muhana Mandi.
