Three Men Arrested for Smuggling Ganja in Erode District

Prohibition Enforcement Wing arrests three in ganja smuggling

The Prohibition Enforcement Wing arrested three men from Odisha on Sunday for allegedly smuggling and selling ganja in Ingur, a locality under the jurisdiction of Chennimalai police station near Perundurai in Erode district.

The operation was launched after police received a tip-off. Officers conducted surveillance near the Ingur flyover and intercepted two men while one was allegedly handing a bag to the other. The suspects were identified as Mukesh Digal and Suraj Kumar, both residents of Odisha.

The authorities have initiated further investigations into the case.
