In a significant breakthrough, the police have arrested three employees of the Baroda UP Bank in connection with the alleged theft of Rs 21 lakh from a branch in Sanvara village. The incident, which occurred last week, led to an intensive investigation, culminating in the arrest of the suspects.

The arrested individuals include branch manager Chandrabhushan Rai, cashier Swami Nath Ram, and peon Sunil Yadav. They were apprehended at a local tea shop in the Rasra area on Tuesday afternoon, marking a critical development in the case.

According to Circle Officer Mohammad Fahim Qureshi, their arrest follows an investigation that revealed their involvement in the missing funds.
