Three individuals were arrested in Thiensville, Wisconsin, after reportedly stealing over $9,000 worth of alcohol and other items from a local restaurant.
The Thiensville Police Department received a call around 1:50 p.m. on Monday, reporting that a group was seen removing items from the former Cheel restaurant. Officers, with assistance from the Mequon Police Department, arrived on the scene and discovered multiple adults in the building.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the suspects were former employees of the Cheel restaurant, Baaree Bar and Grill, and Daily Taco, all of which are owned by the same local business owners.
The suspects, identified as Patrick Collins, Lucas Hensel, and Cheryl Raymond, used their previous key code credentials to gain access to the restaurant. Officers recovered more than $9,000 worth of stolen items during their investigation.
The three individuals have been charged with:
Theft of movable property with a modifier of party to a crime
Entry into a building or construction site
Officials have emphasized that this was not a random act, and there is no known safety risk to the public. The investigation remains ongoing, but no additional details have been released at this time.
