SAN ANTONIO — Three individuals have been arrested in connection with a vape shop robbery on Friday, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
Jordan Mazon, 22, Sharon Mendoza, 24, and Samir Saleh, 25, are accused of stealing money, merchandise, and jewelry from a vape shop located on the city’s northwest side.
Authorities say Mazon and Saleh were dressed in all black with their faces covered when they entered the shop. They pointed a gun at the store clerk, demanding money from the store’s safe and the victim. During the robbery, one of the suspects is said to have made unwanted sexual contact with the victim, although it was unclear which suspect was responsible for the contact. The second suspect reportedly stopped the act before it escalated further.
The suspects then fled with the victim’s necklace and store merchandise, leaving the scene in an undisclosed vehicle driven by Mendoza, who was the getaway driver.
Following an investigation, all three suspects were charged with aggravated robbery. Jordan Mazon is also facing additional unrelated aggravated robbery warrants.
SAPD credited a coordinated effort between Prue Patrol, the Street Crimes Unit, and the Robbery Task Force Unit for the swift arrests.
