Three Arrested in Rome Drug Bust

ROME — Police executed a search warrant at 121 Juniper Way, resulting in the arrest of Marcus Lamer Williams, Ellen Marie Castro, and Donald Hugh Embree III on drug charges.

During the search, officers located suspected methamphetamine in a plastic baggie along with a cellphone and digital scale. In addition, a loaded syringe and a bag of Gabapentin were found in Williams’ bedroom.

Charges

All three individuals were charged with:

Possession of methamphetamine

Possession of drug-related objects

Williams faces an additional charge of:

Possession/distribution of dangerous drugs

Authorities say the arrests were part of ongoing efforts to curb drug activity in Rome.
