Three Arrested in Portland Drug Raid at Franklin Towers

Police seize drugs and make multiple arrests in ongoing investigation

PORTLAND, Maine (WGME) – Three individuals were arrested after a police raid at Franklin Towers in Portland as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug activity.

On Sunday evening at around 7:30 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at 211 Cumberland Avenue, targeting the building for drug-related activity. As a result of the search, police arrested 39-year-old Noorhussein Ibrahim of Westbrook, 58-year-old Shane Leroux of South Portland, and 55-year-old Christopher Alan of South Portland.

Police seized a total of 68 grams of crack cocaine and 258 grams of cocaine during the raid.

Ibrahim was charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs. Leroux faces charges of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs and falsifying physical evidence. Alan was arrested for violating conditions of release and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
