Three Arrested in Nagpur for Drug Trafficking in Rs10.7 Lakh MD Raid

In a major drug bust, Ganeshpeth Police, along with the Crime Branch’s NDPS squad, arrested three individuals involved in drug trafficking on Tuesday evening. The raid, which took place between 7:05 PM and 9:15 PM, resulted in the seizure of 104 grams of Mephedrone (MD) powder worth Rs10.7 lakh.

The arrested suspects are Kushal Singh Sardar Singh Sodiya and Sanjay Bagdiram Vishwakarma, both from Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, and Harshal Vilasrao Bante from Mahal, Nagpur. The police operation was initiated after they received a tip-off from officer Manoj Neware, leading to the successful arrest of the trio.

Along with the MD powder, police also confiscated three mobile phones from the suspects. The arrested individuals have been charged under sections 8(c), 22(c), and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985.

Two other suspects, including Sameer Bashir Khan from Mahal, Nagpur, are still on the run, and authorities are actively pursuing them. Investigations are ongoing to uncover any further links related to the case.
