MOORE COUNTY, N.C. — Three men are facing multiple drug-related charges following the execution of a search warrant in Eagle Springs.
On January 30, 2026, detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office served a warrant at the 1100 block of Eagle Springs Road, where they seized suspected cocaine, marijuana, oxycodone, hydrocodone, drug paraphernalia, and over $800 in cash, according to Sheriff Ronnie Fields.
As a result of the investigation:
Henry Diggs, 49, of Jackson Springs, was arrested and charged with trafficking in opium or heroin by possession, possession with intent to sell a Schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dwight Cole, 73, of Eagle Springs, faces charges of felony possession of cocaine, simple possession of oxycodone and hydrocodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Demetrick Collins, 48, of Pinehurst, was charged with simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Diggs and Cole were committed to the Moore County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond, while Collins was committed under a $1,500 bond. All three defendants are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on February 18. They are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
