In a daring police operation at Meerut’s Bhaisali Bus Stand, three men were arrested on charges of stealing gold and silver valued at lakhs. The stolen items belonged to Darshanlal Kapoor and included 2.250 kg of silver and 15 grams of gold, taken after his bag was slashed open.
The suspects—Asif, Shahrukh, and Salman—were quickly apprehended by police. Upon interrogation, they revealed locations near the Cantt Railway Station where the stolen goods were hidden.
However, during the recovery, Shahrukh snatched a pistol from an officer, sparking a fierce shootout. In the exchange, Shahrukh was injured and is currently hospitalized while remaining under police custody. Notably, Shahrukh faces multiple prior charges.
The police continue their investigation into the case as they recover the stolen valuables and gather further evidence.
