KOKOMO, Ind. — Three men have been arrested in connection with a theft ring, the Kokomo Police Department announced Tuesday.

Police conducted a search on Monday at a home on the 1600 block of South Union Street, a few blocks south of downtown Kokomo. Officers recovered three stolen cars, a stolen handgun, and other items believed to have been taken from vehicles.

The suspects arrested were identified as 18-year-old Keen Chappell, 19-year-old Devonne Chappell, and 19-year-old Antwan James. The police release did not indicate whether the Chappells are related.

As of Tuesday night, court records had not yet shown cases filed against the three men.

Authorities continue to investigate the scope of the theft ring and any additional stolen property that may be connected.
