HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Three men were arrested Tuesday as part of a drug trafficking investigation in Huntington.

Officers with the Huntington Police Department seized large quantities of fentanyl, narcotics distribution materials, significant cash, and multiple firearms during the operation. Police noted that one of the recovered guns was a modified weapon with a switch, allowing it to function as a fully automatic firearm.

Warrants were executed at homes on the 800 block of 11th Avenue, 1700 block of 11th Avenue, and 2300 block of 9th Avenue, resulting in the arrests of:

Wesley Tremaine Cornish, 21, of Huntington

Zander Chase Byrom, 23, of Huntington

Nigel Jamille Coats, 21, of Huntington

All three men face drug trafficking charges and additional criminal offenses. They were taken into custody and lodged at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville.

As with all criminal cases, the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
