Two men, Marvin Cabrera Ortiz, 21, Juan Amonte-Infante, 29, and a 17-year-old boy were arrested in connection with a non-fatal shooting in East Baltimore on March 19.
Police responded to the 1200 block of Quantril Way around 2:30 a.m. after a reported shooting and found the 17-year-old with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The teen was initially treated at a hospital and later arrested for involvement in the incident.
Investigators determined that the suspects had exchanged gunfire following a dispute. They are facing charges including:

Mayor Brandon Scott noted that violent crime rates remain roughly the same as last year, with 51 non-fatal shootings recorded so far in 2026 compared to 53 last year, and 26 homicides, down from 32. Baltimore Police have seized over 319 firearms, including 29 ghost guns.
Mayor Scott emphasized that the city will increase law enforcement efforts this spring to continue reducing gun violence and maintain the progress achieved in 2025, when homicides dropped 31% and non-fatal shootings fell 24.5%.
