DANVILLE, Ga. — Three people were arrested early Monday after deputies discovered drugs and stolen identification documents in a parked U-Haul, the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on June 2 in the Danville Convenience Store parking lot. A deputy noticed someone “slumped” inside the vehicle and proceeded to search it.

Inside the U-Haul, deputies found crack cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, multiple driver’s licenses, debit cards, and other ID documents that did not belong to any of the three occupants. Investigators said the IDs had been altered and were used for identity theft and financial fraud.

Brian Ginn, Cedric Conner, and Kelli Sancomb, all from the Savannah area, were arrested on multiple charges. Deputies also recovered several stolen items linked to burglaries in Savannah.

The sheriff’s office stated the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
