CRISP COUNTY, GA — A routine traffic stop in Crisp County on Monday night led to the arrest of three individuals and a significant drug bust.
Around 7:20 p.m., deputies initiated a stop for a seatbelt violation near exit 104 on GA 401. The driver, Jessica Ray Fountain, and her two passengers, Robert Eugene Fountain and Dennis Wade Keen, were unable to provide proper identification. During the investigation, the trio gave conflicting stories, prompting further suspicion.
A police canine was deployed to search the vehicle, alerting officers to the presence of drugs inside. Upon further investigation, officers discovered large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with a loaded firearm.
