CRANE, Texas (KOSA) – Three individuals were arrested on Friday after multiple stolen items were recovered in Crane County, following an investigation by the Crane County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation began after deputies received a report of stolen property located at 430 Dottie Lane. Upon arrival, officers recovered several stolen items, including a Ram 2500 pickup truck with a trailer and skid steer, a U-Haul trailer, and a pressure water trailer. All of these items were reported stolen from the Odessa area.
Following the investigation, three people were taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Crane County Law Enforcement Center. The suspects have been identified as:
Carlos Hernandez, charged with Theft of Property between $150,000 and $300,000, Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), Animal Cruelty, and Intentional or Knowing Unauthorized Discharge (sewage-related).
Cynthia Barragan, charged with Theft of Property between $150,000 and $300,000, Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), Animal Cruelty, and Intentional or Knowing Unauthorized Discharge (sewage-related).
Juan Ibarra, charged with Theft of Property between $2,500 and $30,000, a state jail felony.
All three individuals are facing serious charges as they await further legal proceedings.
