Three Arrested in Bath, NY Drug Bust Following No-Knock Warrant

Meth, fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia seized in Belfast Street raid

BATH, N.Y. (WETM) – Three residents of Bath were arrested on drug charges after authorities executed a no-knock search warrant as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

The warrant was carried out by members of the Bath Police Department and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office on February 27 at approximately 5:30 a.m. The raid took place at a residence on Belfast Street following extensive inquiries into drug possession and distribution in the Village of Bath.

During the search, officers discovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, and various materials used for packaging and selling narcotics.

As a result, the following individuals were taken into custody:

Joseph E. Hojnoski, 54, was arrested on a superior court warrant and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, both class B felonies. He was also charged with tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony. Hojnoski is currently being held without bail at the Steuben County Jail.

Kimberly S. Jerrells, 47, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree, a class A-II felony. After being processed at the Steuben County Jail, she was released.

Michelle L. Burleson, 33, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree. She was also taken to the Steuben County Jail for processing and later released.

Authorities indicated that additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
