The Amruthahalli police have arrested three more individuals in connection with a sexual assault case at a villa in Amruthahalli, including the son of a former corporator. The arrests relate to aiding the prime accused, Nikhil, during the incident. Authorities also seized the Toyota Fortuner car allegedly used by Nikhil.
Earlier, the police had arrested Nikhil and his associate Dixon Sandra. Further investigation revealed the involvement of Anirudh, Shravan, and Mohit, who are suspected of facilitating the party where the alleged assault occurred.
Nikhil is accused of masterminding the party and allegedly administering drugs to the victim.
Dixon Sandra reportedly helped bring young women to the villa.
Anirudh, son of a former Davanagere corporator, arranged the villa and financed the event.
Shravan is said to have transported women to and from the party.
Mohit, from Gujarat, attended the party and allegedly played a supporting role.
The case reportedly links to both a drug racket and an alleged sex racket, prompting police to investigate the possibility of a larger organized network arranging such events.
According to the complaint, after the Valentine’s Day party, Nikhil allegedly dropped the survivor home in the Toyota Fortuner (KA 05-NC 7299) while threatening her against reporting the incident. The vehicle has been seized as part of evidence collection.
Investigations are ongoing, and authorities have indicated that further arrests may follow as more details emerge.
