Dombivli police have arrested three individuals accused of stealing jewellery worth over Rs1.5 lakh from a 75-year-old man, Madhav Joshi, on Wednesday. The suspects have been identified as Rahul Bhati, Ashish Madari, and Lakhan Nikam.
The trio approached Joshi while he was out and engaged him in a conversation, all while occupying a white car. After spending some time talking to the elderly man, they reportedly stole his jewellery. Authorities were able to apprehend the suspects after investigating the case.
The arrested individuals are currently in police custody, and the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
