The North Zone police in Hyderabad made significant arrests on Sunday, January 26, apprehending two men and a minor who were allegedly involved in a series of thefts across various localities, including Trimulgherry, Karkhana, Chilkalguda, R.C. Puram, and Miyapur.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Junior Rajender Singh (38), a private employee from Pamula Basthi in Nizamabad, who has a criminal history spanning 23 cases, including incidents in Cyberabad, Karimnagar, East Godavari, Medak, Rangareddy, and Secunderabad. Banda Singh (46), a utensil maker from Banswada, is accused of involvement in at least four theft cases. Additionally, a 17-year-old minor, who is a relative of Banda Singh, was also arrested for his role in the crimes.
The arrests followed extensive surveillance by the North Zone police, who tracked the suspects’ movements and identified their involvement in multiple thefts across the city. The police are continuing to investigate the scope of the criminal activities and are working to uncover any additional victims.
