TGCSB Arrests Four for Business Data Theft in Telangana

Employees Caught Conspiring to Steal Employer’s Data

The Telangana State Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has apprehended four employees accused of conspiring to steal sensitive business information from their employer to establish a competing venture.

The arrested include Patti Durga Prasad (29), a construction engineer from Secunderabad; Jalem Chandrasekhar Prasad (28), an AutoCAD designer from Ameerpet; Pasala Praveen Kumar (29), a billing engineer from Uppal; and Peravalli Anil Kumar (29), an MEP manager from Erragadda.

During the operation, police confiscated a laptop, four mobile phones, and five SIM cards from the suspects, which are being examined for further evidence.

The case highlights growing concerns about corporate espionage and data security breaches in Telangana’s industrial sector. Investigations are ongoing.
