PETTIS COUNTY, MO — Terrence Bell, 25, of Kansas City, Missouri, is facing multiple charges, including motorbike theft and rape, after authorities connected him to a string of crimes in Pettis County and Kansas City.
According to Pettis County Circuit Court records filed on April 29, 2025, Bell is accused of stealing five motorbikes from a local business on October 26, 2024. Authorities were called to the scene around 4:30 a.m. when the theft was reported. Investigators found that five individuals, including Bell, had broken into the business, resulting in a loss of nearly $44,000.
The suspect vehicle used in the theft was reported stolen the day before, and investigators soon learned that the same vehicle had been found at the scene of another break-in in Warrensburg in November 2024. A search warrant for Bell’s phone was filed, and data from the phone later linked him to the stolen motorbikes.
Bell has been charged with burglary, stealing, property damage, and endangering the welfare of a child in connection to the motorbike theft. He was arrested for the theft investigation in March 2025, shortly after being arrested for an alleged rape in Kansas City.
A $50,000 bond was issued for Bell’s arrest on May 3, 2025, and as of May 4, he remains in custody at Jackson County Jail. A court hearing has not yet been scheduled, and further details regarding the investigation are currently unavailable.
