In a chilling premeditated murder in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, a 25-year-old man, Rahul alias Golden, was fatally attacked with a broken beer bottle and multiple stab wounds. Police have arrested his 17-year-old wife along with two male accomplices linked to her extramarital relationship.
Superintendent of Police Devendra Patidar stated that the body was discovered on April 13 near the Indore-Ichhapur highway, adjacent to ITI College. Rahul, son of Ramchandra Pandey Kunbi Patil from Shahpur, sustained 36 stab wounds.
Investigations revealed that the murder was planned in advance. Rahul’s wife, involved with a man named Yuvraj, lured him out for shopping and dinner at a roadside eatery. While traveling on a two-wheeler, they were followed by Lalit and a juvenile on another motorcycle.
Near a speed breaker, the woman dropped her slipper, causing Rahul to stop. She initiated the attack with a beer bottle, after which the accomplices further assaulted him with sharp objects. Post-murder, the trio traveled to Raver railway station, boarded a train to Itarsi, and then proceeded toward Ujjain. During this time, the woman reportedly video-called Yuvraj showing him Rahul’s body.
The accused were apprehended in Sanwer after a police tip-off. The arrested include:
Bharat alias Yuvraj (20) – son of Kailash Patil, resident of Kodri Shahpur
Lalit (20) – son of Santosh Patil, resident of Kodri Shahpur
The 17-year-old wife of the deceased
A juvenile accomplice
Police confirmed that the murder was conspired and coordinated via mobile communication, and further investigation is ongoing to uncover all links to the crime.
