Teen Arrested for Fatal Shooting of Jared Kinloch in Orlando

17-Year-Old Damian Burden Faces First-Degree Murder and Robbery Charges

A 17-year-old suspect, Damian B. Burden, has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Jared A. Kinloch during a drug transaction in Orlando, Florida, according to police.

Shooting on North Orange Blossom Trail
The Orlando Police Department responded to a shooting at 5200 North Orange Blossom Trail on March 16 around 1:33 a.m. Officers arrived to find a man and a woman inside a vehicle, with the man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, later identified as Jared A. Kinloch, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, the woman in the vehicle told investigators that the shooting occurred during a drug deal.

Teen Suspect Faces Multiple Felony Charges
Authorities arrested Damian B. Burden on Tuesday, charging him with:

First-degree murder with a firearm

Attempted robbery with a firearm

Grand theft auto

Armed trespass in conveyance

Possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony

Possession of a firearm by a minor

Resisting arrest without violence

Driving without a valid license

Burden remains in custody as the investigation continues.
