Jefferson County, AL — A major narcotics operation led by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and Narcotics Unit resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of significant quantities of drugs, cash, and weapons.
The raid took place on Friday, May 30, 2025, at a residence in the 1100 block of Pebble Creek Parkway.
Tebyrius Davonte Watts, 33, was the primary target of the operation and now faces:
Three counts of drug trafficking (each with a $1,000,000 bond)
Unlawful distribution of a controlled substance ($30,000 bond)
First-degree marijuana possession ($15,000 bond)
Possession of drug paraphernalia ($500 bond)
Watts remains in custody at the Jefferson County Jail with a total bond of $3,045,500.
Two others, Angela Hubbard, 57, and Jacob Tyler Cagle, 35, were charged with loitering and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released on $500 bond each.
During the raid, deputies seized:
244 grams of methamphetamine
44.3 grams of heroin
12.6 grams of cocaine
20 grams of a fentanyl/meth compound
122 grams of marijuana
$66,440 in cash
Multiple firearms including a Taurus G3 9mm, Masterpiece Arms 9mm, and an Anderson Manufacturing AR15 Pistol (5.56)
Officers also confiscated digital scales, packaging materials, cell phones, acetone, and a blender commonly used in drug manufacturing.
Sheriff Mark Pettway commented, “We are working hard to keep dangerous drugs and weapons off the streets of Jefferson County.”
