MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Taylor Guinn has been charged with fentanyl-induced homicide following an incident in the McColl area, according to Chief Deputy Larry Turner of the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

Investigators determined that Guinn knowingly provided the victim with fentanyl or a fentanyl-like substance, causing the woman to collapse and die. Medical personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.

Additionally, Tony Ward and Casie Cummings have each been charged with accessory after the fact in connection with the incident.

All three are currently being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center pending bond hearings. The Marlboro County Coroner’s Office is assisting with the investigation and coordinating an autopsy.

The victim has not yet been publicly identified. The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Investigator J. Hatcher.
