Tatiana Lopez Charged in Bath Domestic Burglary Case

Elmira Woman Allegedly Broke In, Damaged Property

Bath, NY – A 24-year-old Elmira woman is facing multiple charges after police say she unlawfully entered a Bath residence and damaged property during a domestic incident.

The Village of Bath Police Department reports that officers, along with New York State Police, responded to an open-line 911 call at approximately 5:23 a.m. on August 22. The call came from a home on East Steuben Street, with clear sounds of a disturbance heard in the background.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an active domestic dispute. Their investigation revealed that Tatiana Lopez, 24, had unlawfully entered the home and was identified as the primary aggressor. She also reportedly caused property damage during the altercation.

Lopez was arrested and charged with the following:

Burglary in the 2nd Degree (Class C felony)

Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree (Class A misdemeanor)

Aggravated Family Offense (Class E felony)

She was processed at the Steuben County Jail and released on her own recognizance following arraignment.
