TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Nicole Lampadarios Free, the president of the Tarpon Springs Little League, has been arrested after police say she withdrew more than $23,000 from the league’s accounts for personal use. The theft occurred between June 2023 and March 2024, according to the Tarpon Springs Police Department.

Police report that Free made cash withdrawals totaling over $18,000 and used the funds for her own purposes. The theft was discovered when vendors of the Little League reported that payments were being returned for “insufficient funds.” Upon investigation, the board members of the Little League became suspicious of Free’s activities.

Free was arrested and charged with grand theft of over $20,000. She is currently facing legal action for the theft from the league’s accounts.
