Talabania Police Arrest Four Burglary Suspects in Puri District

Srikant Swain and Associates Nabbed in Multi-Location Raids

The Talabania police successfully apprehended four individuals linked to a string of burglaries in Puri district on Saturday. The arrested suspects include Srikant Swain (33) from Balighat, Ashish Mallick (19), Kajol Das (28) from Brahman Pokhari, and Chiranjibi Das (28) from the Nimapada area.

Over the past 15 days, multiple burglary complaints had been filed across various police stations in Puri district. In response, the Talabania Police Station Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) organized a special task force to investigate the incidents.

The police team conducted coordinated raids at several locations, leading to the capture of the four accused. During the operation, the officers seized several stolen items including seven gold chains, 30 gold rings, a digital camera, three mobile phones, a printer, and a monitor.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek to uncover further details and recover any remaining stolen property.
