SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hartford woman has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts in Southington, including a violent robbery at a local CVS.
Police say 24-year-old Tadae S. Love stole more than $2,000 in merchandise from the CVS at 326 Main Street on June 19. She and an unidentified man allegedly assaulted a store employee and took several fragrances from a locked display before fleeing in a black Acura MDX.
The vehicle was located days later, on June 25, in a Queen Street parking lot. A woman matching Love’s description entered the car, which fled the scene before being disabled and later seized by police. Officers recovered over $200 in stolen merchandise from TJ Maxx during the vehicle search.
Love was arrested at New Britain Superior Court, where she was already being arraigned on charges from a previous robbery.
She now faces multiple charges including:
Second-degree robbery
Conspiracy to commit robbery
Third-degree assault
Third-degree and sixth-degree larceny
Breach of peace
Interfering with an officer
Evading responsibility
Traffic violations
Driving with a suspended license
Love posted 7% of her $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on July 21.
