Two individuals have been arrested in connection to a shooting and armed robbery that occurred in the 2400 block of England Drive in Alexandria, Louisiana. According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO), Ronnie Joseph Clovis, 23, was taken into custody for armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, attempted second-degree murder, and a parole violation.
Clovis was located during a SWAT operation in Pineville on the 2200 block of Shreveport Highway and was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. His bond is set at $800,000.
Mya Michelle Hayes, 24, of Pineville, was also arrested for accessory after the fact and for being a Louisiana fugitive due to an outstanding contempt of court warrant from Claiborne Parish. She is being held on a $10,000 bond.
The incident began on February 6 when RPSO deputies responded to a shooting on England Drive at noon. Officers from the Alexandria Police Department were already at the scene providing medical aid to the victim, who suffered an injury to their arm. The victim remains at a local hospital, with their condition currently unknown.
Other suspects had been arrested earlier in the investigation. Freddie Treyvon Davis, 20, of Pineville, faces charges including armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, attempted murder, and aggravated flight, with a bond set at $130,000. Ke Juan Demonte Darrell Davis, 19, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and attempted second-degree murder, with a bond set at $800,000.
The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement continues to seek further details related to the incident.
