Sultan & Gang Arrested in Annamayya District Crime Bust

Five most-wanted criminals nabbed in multi-state case

The Annamayya district police on Monday, November 10, 2025, successfully apprehended a gang of five most-wanted criminals involved in over 18 criminal cases, including murders, robberies, red sanders smuggling, and ganja trafficking across Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.

According to the Madanapalle urban police, the arrests were made under the supervision of Deputy SP Mahendra, with a special team targeting the gang following intelligence reports.

The gang was led by Sultan, along with his accomplices Rabbani, Shadiq, Ashif, and Moula, all residents of Madanapalle mandal. Authorities confirmed that these individuals had been active in multiple high-profile criminal activities across the region.

Police are now investigating further to dismantle the network and recover any assets linked to their illegal operations.
