Students Narasimha Swamy & Deepak Arrested with 2.7 kg Ganja

Two students caught transporting ganja worth Rs91,000 to Hyderabad

The Balanagar Special Operations Team (SOT) arrested two students at Hafizpet railway station in Miyapur for transporting 2.7 kg of ganja valued at Rs91,000. The accused, Patibala Venkata Satya Narasimha Swamy (20) and Gaddi Deepak (23), both studying at Siddhartha Degree and PG College, Kukatpally, were caught while transporting the drugs from Parli in Maharashtra to Hyderabad by train.

Police revealed that the ganja was procured from a supplier named MD Amjad based in Parli. The duo’s attempt to smuggle the contraband into Hyderabad was foiled thanks to timely intelligence and intervention by the Balanagar SOT.
