A killer who stabbed a dad-to-be, a care home manager, and a fugitive drug and firearms trafficker who fled to Portugal were among the 67 criminals from Merseyside jailed in March.
One of those sentenced was an EncroChat user known as “Big Shger,”** while another thug, nicknamed “Beefy,” stormed into a pub, smashed up the bar with a golf club, and threatened the manager, saying, “I’ll f*ing bury you.”**
Liverpool Crown Court saw a series of high-profile cases last month, including dangerous offenders being taken off the streets for violent crimes, drug trafficking, and firearm offenses. Among them were Stewart Warburton, Kelly Kavanagh, and Daniel Beckett, whose cases highlighted the ongoing crackdown on organized crime in the region.
