Lexington Park, MD — A Lusby man is facing multiple charges after being arrested three times in three days at the same Royal Farms gas station on Tulagi Place, court records show.
Steven Thorton Etter, 26, was first taken into custody on August 30, 2025, after allegedly stealing multiple Red Bull drinks valued at around $31.86. Surveillance footage reportedly showed Etter entering the store around 1 a.m., taking drinks from the refrigerator, and walking out without paying. He was charged with theft under $100 and released later that day on an unsecured bond.
Only two days later, on September 1, Etter was arrested twice for returning to the same gas station in violation of a no-trespass order issued after his first arrest.
In the first of the two September 1 arrests, Etter allegedly entered the store, stole a coffee and a Slurpee-style drink (valued at $5.25), and told deputies, “I intended to continue returning to the gas station” and “I do not care about the trespass notice or its legal implications.” He was again charged with theft and trespassing and held without bond.
Just hours later, deputies were called again to the same location after Etter returned once more, despite the active no-trespass order. He was arrested a third time, and once again charged with trespassing and theft under $100.
Following the third incident, Etter appeared before a judge for a bail review hearing on September 2, where he was released on his own recognizance.
In total, Etter is now facing three counts of theft under $100 and two counts of trespassing, all stemming from repeated visits to the same gas station over a three-day span.
