Stacy Leigh Singer, 54, of Lake Ozark, was arrested on Monday evening after a traffic stop in Tipton led to the discovery of drugs in her vehicle. The arrest followed a routine stop for a lane change violation, but a K-9 unit alerted authorities to narcotics inside the car.
Upon searching, officers found three ounces of methamphetamine and one gram of fentanyl. Singer reportedly told investigators she bought the methamphetamine in Independence for $600 and planned to deliver it to someone in the Jefferson City area.
Singer has been charged with first and second-degree drug trafficking and is being held in the Moniteau County Jail with a $100,000 bond. She is scheduled for her initial court appearance on Wednesday morning.
