Authorities in Arkansas have arrested 50-year-old Stacy Lee Drake, a suspect in multiple homicides, including three killings in Oklahoma, following an operation on Thursday morning. Morrilton Police, in collaboration with the Arkansas State Police, apprehended Drake, who is also linked to other felony warrants across various jurisdictions.
Drake, from Birmingham, Alabama, is wanted in connection with two separate carjackings and the homicides of three individuals in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) reported that on June 18, 2024, Sequoyah County deputies responded to a double homicide at a business near State Highway 64 and South 4670 Road in Gans, Oklahoma. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of an adult male and female, both victims of a suspected homicide.
As the investigation unfolded, OSBI special agents identified Drake as a person of interest. The stolen vehicle allegedly linked to the crime was found in Morrilton, Arkansas, late Tuesday night, leading to the breakthrough in the case.
Police are urging the public to be cautious and not to approach Drake if spotted, advising anyone who sees him to immediately call 911.
At this time, no further details have been released regarding the case.
