Two women from Rugeley, Staffordshire — Stacey Culvin, 40, and Sharnie Price, 31 — have received suspended prison sentences for their involvement in the supply of Class A and B drugs.

The pair were stopped and searched by officers on November 19, 2024. Culvin was found in possession of cocaine, ketamine, cannabis, and a quantity of criminal property. Price was also found with cocaine and cannabis.

Both were arrested and later charged with multiple drug offences. Culvin admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine, ketamine, and cannabis, as well as possessing criminal property. She was sentenced to 24 months in prison, suspended for two years.

Price admitted her role in supplying cocaine and ketamine and possession of cannabis. She received a 13-month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson praised the ongoing efforts of major and organised crime units in the region, stating:
“Officers from our dedicated teams are working hard every day to tackle the gangs responsible for high harm offences in our communities. Since our crackdown on organised crime launched in May 2023, we have arrested more than 1,000 people for drug and weapon offences.”

Authorities urge the public to report suspicious drug or gang activity via 101 or the Live Chat function on the Staffordshire Police website.
