In an ongoing effort to combat the drug problem in Srinagar, the police have successfully arrested a notorious drug peddler. Mudasir Ahmad Peer, also known as Sahil or Doggy, was taken into custody by the police as part of an investigation into a significant drug trafficking case.
Mudasir Ahmad Peer, a resident of Firdous Colony in Bemina, had been on the run for some time and was wanted by law enforcement for his involvement in the illegal drug trade in the Bemina area. Police had been tracking him for a while and were able to apprehend him based on intelligence gathered during their investigation.
This arrest follows the registration of FIR No. 18/25 under sections 8/21-29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.
