Som Prakash Gupta Arrested for Fake Passport Scam in Mumbai

Bihar man caught running fake passport racket from computer centre

Mumbai Police, in a joint operation with Bhabua Police, arrested Som Prakash Gupta, a resident of Kukuradh village in Kaimur district, Bihar, for allegedly running a fake passport racket.

Som Prakash, son of Munna Sah, operates a computer centre in Bhabua city and is accused of producing fake passports using forged documents. The case against him was registered at Gorai Police Station in Mumbai after investigations revealed his involvement.

According to ASI Suryakant Paul of Gorai Police, Som Prakash was arrested in his village with vital help from Bhabua Police. The accused has been taken to Mumbai for further interrogation.

Bhabua’s SDPO Shiv Shankar Kumar added that the investigation is ongoing to check whether Som Prakash has links to other criminal activities.

Authorities continue to probe the case to dismantle the larger network of passport forgery.
