ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — A social media creator arrested last Friday in Charles County for charges related to arson and making a false 911 call was arrested again today in St. Mary’s County on nearly identical charges.

Joshua Christian-Stanley Jackson, who was released from Charles County Detention Center on home detention earlier this week, was taken into custody again on February 20, 2025, following an investigation into a separate arson incident in St. Mary’s County. Jackson is now facing second-degree arson, second-degree malicious burning, malicious destruction of property, and making a false 911 call.

The charges stem from an incident on February 14, 2025, when Jackson allegedly set fire to the exterior of a vacant home on Maddox Road in Chaptico, Maryland. The Office of the State Fire Marshal determined Jackson was responsible for starting the fire and had also reported the incident to emergency authorities. Investigators say Jackson was the one who placed the initial call to report the fire.

In addition to the arson charges, investigators discovered that Jackson had previously made a false 911 call in Hollywood late last year, reporting a motor vehicle accident on Three Notch Road. The call was later determined to be unfounded, and it was revealed that Jackson had made the call to position himself to record emergency responders at the scene. He then reportedly monetized the footage by posting it on his social media platforms.

As part of an ongoing investigation, the Deputy State Fire Marshals are now reviewing additional fire incidents and false 911 calls across Calvert County, and more charges could follow.
