Sleaford man jailed for cocaine possession in Stafford

Festim Qengaj sentenced to 2.5 years in prison

A Sleaford man has been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison after being caught with cocaine in Stafford.

Festim Qengaj, 20, admitted possession with intent to supply a Class A drug after police stopped a black Ford Focus he was driving on Brocton Road, Milford, on 9 October. Officers found six snap bags of cocaine, cash, and an iPhone inside the vehicle.

In addition to his prison sentence, Qengaj admitted driving a vehicle without a proper licence and was disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for two years.

The case was heard at Stafford Crown Court on 14 November.
