Acting on a tip-off received by ACP (Vijay Nagar) Aditya Patle, a joint police team raided Flat No. 201 where the suspects were reportedly facilitating online gambling disguised as legitimate mobile gaming.
The accused were allegedly collecting money via multiple bank accounts, granting players access to online games through a web of mobile phones, tablets, and SIM cards. Police seized:
35 mobile phones
51 SIM cards
6 tablets
7 ATM/debit cards
3 bank passbooks
₹12,940 in cash
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
Arpit Kesharwani, Rahul Rajak, Shubham Jaiswal, Aniket Patel – all from Jabalpur
Ajay Jaiswal from Mauganj
Amit Gautam from Rewa
All six were residing in the rented flat from where they operated the illegal network.
