WARE SHOALS, S.C. — Six individuals were arrested by the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a large-scale investigation into stolen property and drug offenses.
On June 24, deputies responded to Graden Road in Ware Shoals after receiving a tip about a stolen trailer out of Greenville County. Upon arrival, deputies uncovered a trove of stolen items, including:
A utility trailer (Greenville City)
Two vehicles (Greenville County)
A vehicle (Greenwood County)
Two vehicles (Laurens County)
Tools and construction equipment
In addition to the stolen property, law enforcement found methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms, and ammunition at the scene.

John Calhoun
2 counts: Receiving stolen goods/chop shop (Altering VIN)
7 counts: Receiving stolen goods ($2,000–$10,000)
Possession of tools used in a crime
Possession of non-owner keys
Receiving stolen goods (Over $10,000)
Carleus Fowler

The sheriff’s office says the arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity involving stolen goods and narcotics. Deputies are continuing their investigation to determine if further charges are warranted.
