Kawartha Lakes OPP have arrested six individuals following an investigation into a series of break and enters and thefts in the Bobcaygeon area.
On April 17, 2025, officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment responded to reports of an active break-in at a local business. By the time police arrived, the suspects had fled, prompting a thorough investigation led by the Community Street Crime Unit.
Further investigation revealed additional crimes in the area, including multiple vehicle break-ins and instances of fraud and property theft. As a result, the following individuals were arrested and charged:
