Patna police have successfully apprehended multiple suspects in two separate criminal cases.
In Phulwarisharif, seven individuals, including a woman, were arrested in connection with a house burglary. Notably, Sittu Kumar, a habitual offender and one of the top 10 criminals in the area with five prior cases, was among those detained. Police recovered most of the stolen items, including a cellphone, bangles, rings, earrings, a mangalsutra, and a chain. All seven accused have been sent for judicial custody.
In a separate case under Naubatpur police, two men, Anil Kumar Sinha and Rishav Kumar, were arrested for their involvement in the murder of 33-year-old Bharat Sharma of Jagdishpur village. Sharma was shot on October 4 and later succumbed to his injuries in hospital. The prime accused, Lovely, is alleged to have fired the fatal shot. The arrested duo has been placed under judicial custody as investigations continue.
These arrests highlight Patna police’s ongoing efforts to combat crime and bring offenders to justice.
