
SAN ANGELO, Texas — Two men were arrested on June 18 and 19 in separate violent incidents in San Angelo, according to a release from the San Angelo Police Department (SAPD).
The first incident occurred on June 18, when SAPD’s Narcotics Division responded to a tip involving active firearm threats at a local residence. Upon arrival, officers encountered Isaiah Ramirez, 20, who was reportedly armed and threatening two individuals inside the home.
Ramirez was taken into custody without further incident and has been charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a felony. According to the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office (TGSO) inmate roster, he was booked at 5:53 a.m. on June 18 and remains in custody at the Tom Green County Detention Center with bond set at $225,000.
The second, unrelated incident took place on June 19, when officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of South Chadbourne Street in response to a report of an elderly victim suffering multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Shannon Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Following an investigation led by SAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division, Silvester N. Reyes, 44, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Reyes was booked at 10:51 a.m. on June 19 and also remains in custody at the Tom Green County Detention Center, with bond set at $350,000.
SAPD has not released further details about the victim’s condition or the motive behind the stabbing, but the investigation is ongoing.
