In a shocking revelation that has sent ripples through Bollywood, several prominent actors and public figures, including Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddhanth Kapoor, dancer-actress Nora Fatehi, politician Zeeshan Siddiqui, Alishah Parkar, producer Abbas Mustan, and rapper Loka, have been linked to lavish drug parties allegedly organised by a key suspect in a massive Rs252 crore mephedrone trafficking racket.
The Mumbai Police Crime Branch announced a major breakthrough in the sprawling case following the deportation and arrest of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh from Dubai, marking the 15th arrest in the investigation that began with a small bust in February 2024.
Shaikh, a 31-year-old Dongri native and alleged close associate of underworld figure Salim Dola linked to the Dawood Ibrahim syndicate, reportedly made explosive disclosures during interrogation. According to the police remand copy, he named several Bollywood celebrities and influential figures as participants in drug-fuelled parties held in India and abroad.
The case is now under joint scrutiny by the Mumbai Crime Branch and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which suspects that profits from the narcotics trade were laundered through hawala networks and real estate investments. Officials have indicated that all high-profile individuals named in the probe are likely to be summoned for detailed questioning in the coming days.
